Recover High-Quality RNA from Cell and Tissue Samples Using a Single, Unified Kit
Precious samples and sensitive assays require RNA purification you can trust. The ReliaPrep™ RNA Miniprep System delivers consistent, high-purity RNA from both cultured cells and tissue samples using one streamlined kit designed for fast, reliable results.
The system enables preparation of intact total RNA in as little as 30 minutes. An optimized binding matrix efficiently captures RNA from very small or large input amounts, with elution volumes as low as 7–15µl—ideal for downstream assays that demand concentration and sensitivity.
Using this membrane-based purification workflow, you can process 100 to 5 × 10⁶ cultured cells or 0.25–20mg of tissue per prep. A built-in DNase treatment step removes contaminating DNA directly on the column, eliminating the need for phenol:chloroform extraction or ethanol precipitation. The result is clean, ready-to-use RNA suitable for a wide range of applications.
Note: The ReliaPrep™ RNA Miniprep System (Cat.# Z6014, Z6015) is the consolidated configuration of the legacy ReliaPrep™ RNA Cell Miniprep System (Cat.# Z6010, Z6011, Z6012) and ReliaPrep™ RNA Tissue Miniprep System (Cat.# Z6110, Z6111, Z6112). The legacy ReliaPrep™ RNA Cell Miniprep System and ReliaPrep™ RNA Tissue Miniprep System will be discontinued shortly.

Higher RNA Yields Across Diverse Cell Types and Culture Densities
The ReliaPrep™ RNA Miniprep System delivers consistent RNA yields across a wide range of cultured cell inputs, including low-input to high-density cultures and across a diverse range of cell types. RNA can be isolated from as few as 100 up to 1 × 10⁶ HeLa cells, with yields comparable to, or exceeding, those of the leading competitor. Robust RNA recovery can be obtained from 100,000 cells across four cell lines, demonstrating reliable performance even with low-input samples.

RNA from Tissue
Reliable Yield and Purity Across Challenging Tissue Types
The ReliaPrep™ RNA Miniprep System efficiently isolates RNA from a broad range of tissues, including both fibrous and nonfibrous sample types. The data shown below represent RNA yield from 10mg of mouse tissue samples, quantified using absorbance spectroscopy.
Purity metrics (A260/A280 and A260/A230 ratios) remain consistently high across tissue types, confirming clean RNA suitable for downstream applications such as RT-qPCR and sequencing.
